Sci-Fi Heroes We Want To See Amber Midthunder Play Next
By WITNEY SEIBOLD
The Empress
The character of the empress is the lead of Margaret Cavendish’s 1666 utopian novel, "The Blazing World." She goes from being a kidnapped victim to being the philosophic empress of the titular Blazing World where anthropomorphic animals live, and she wages war against humans using submarines, birdmen and mermen, and exploding stones.
Helena Glory
Helena Glory is a character in Karel Čapek's 1920 sci-fi play “R.U.R” where she is the president of the Humanity League – an organization that wants robots to be treated fairly – and also eventually gets her own robot clone. Midthunder could play both Helena and her clone as the robots eventually revolt and Humanity falls years later.
Molly Millions
In William Gibson's 1984 novel "Neuromancer," Molly Millions is a cyberpunk with retractable razors as fingers and mirrors for eyeballs. Midthunder could play the dual role of Helena and her own robot clone — a revolutionary and the vanguard of a new age.
Ruby
Ruby the Galactic Gumshoe is the sassy and sarcastic sci-fi detective of Thomas Manual Lopez’s radio dramas of the ‘70s. She's a sci-fi heroine too few people know about. Perhaps a film starring Midthunder as Ruby could grab the public's attention.
Max Guevara
Max Guevara is the lead character played by Jessica Alba in James Cameron's sci-fi tv series "Dark Angel. Perhaps it's time for Cameron to expand "Dark Angel" from the small screen to the big one and now that Midthunder has broken out in her own right, she would be a great choice to take up the mantle.
