Rotten Tomatoes Says These Are The Only Two Perfect Sci-Fi Movies
By JOE ROBERTS
While the company has some issues, many people turn to Rotten Tomatoes when deciding whether a movie is “Fresh” or “Rotten.” A few films even achieve a “perfect” score.
Achieving a perfect RT score means the film or show has hit 100% on the Tomatometer. Currently, “The Terminator” and “Stalker” are the only two sci-fi movies to do so.
James Cameron’s sci-fi slasher film, “The Terminator,” remains as remarkable and relevant today as it was when it first debuted, especially with the rise of AI worldwide.
Like “The Terminator,” Andrei Tarkovsky’s 1979 “Stalker” feels like a horror movie but contains a major psychological thriller aspect that stems from its science fiction premise.
Although Rotten Tomatoes has given these movies a perfect score, the site’s ranking method isn’t perfect, as it’s based on subjective reviews and is open to manipulation.
