Rotten Tomatoes Says These Are The Only Perfect Alfred Hitchcock Films
By JOE ROBERTS
The casual film fan might not have heard of "Shadow of a Doubt," but if you ask Rotten Tomatoes, it's one of only two of Alfred Hitchcock’s "perfect" films.
The other “perfect” movie the master of suspense ever produced is 1937's "Young and Innocent." The almighty Tomatometer shows it has a 100% RT score, based on 20 reviews.
Perhaps ironically, when Hitch was asked by Dick Cavett to pick a favorite, the director chose "Shadow of a Doubt," noting that, "It was true. It was a character picture."
