Picard Season 3: The Return of Alice Krige and the Borg Queen Explained

"Star Trek: Picard" Season 3
The Borg Queen’s original actress, Alice Krige, makes her triumphant return in “Star Trek: Picard” to voice the leader of the cybernetic antagonist Borg Collective.
Her return also finally answers Jack Crusher’s mysterious origins, as the voice he hears in his head is revealed in a shocking twist to be that of the Borg Queen herself.
Krige first appears as the villainess in the 1996 film “Star Trek: First Contact,” where she attempts to turn Jean-Luc Picard into her “counterpart,” Locutus.
The Borg Queen also appears in “Voyager” and is referenced in “Picard” Season 2 before Annie Wersching's alternate version of her is fused with Agnes Jurati to become a hybrid.
Jack hears Krige’s Borg Queen, saying, “Hear me. Find me. We will be together soon, Jack,” but this plot is hardly explored before the story moves forward.
With the Borg moving in to attack Starfleet, this likely isn’t the last time fans will see Krige’s Borg Queen as “Picard” heads towards its season finale.
