One Word Can (Almost) Never Be Said In Star Trek's Universe

Gene Roddenberry, the creator, harbored skepticism toward organized religion, leading to reported restrictions on using the word “God” on the set of “Star Trek: Discovery.”
Per Entertainment Weekly, actor Jason Isaacs was pulled aside and reprimanded by writer Kirsten Beyer when he yelled, "Fire at something, for God's sakes!”
Trekkies may recall instances of characters mentioning God. “Star Trek,” producer Gretchen Berg clarified to Nerdist that “God” was permitted and its ban was exaggerated.
Berg said, “I feel like you have to accept that some people believe in God [...] some people don't want to believe in anything. I think there is room for that on 'Star Trek.'”
