One Reacher Season 2 Change Was A ‘Huge Relief’ For Alan Ritchson

The second season of “Reacher” not only marked success for the show's lead character, Jack Reacher, but also brought a major change for Alan Ritchson, the actor who portrays him.
The introduction of Ritchson as the 6-ft 3-inch, 235-pound Jack Reacher, a more faithful representation of Lee Child's novel character, was a big factor in the show's success.
Ritchson told ScreenRant that moving away from emphasizing Reacher's role as the leader of the 110th and instead as an equal comrade was a “huge relief.”
Ritchson said, “Reacher sees something special in them. The fact that he can be surrounded by people he fully trusts is great, and who wouldn't want that in life, you know?”
