One Of Young Justice’s Best Episodes Was Actually Written By A Cast Member

The animated series “Young Justice” follows superheroes mentored by Justice League members. The series tackles missions while the heroes face deep struggles and global threats.
The show plays out the legacy theme as heroes retire and pass on mantles to new heroes. Fans witness this firsthand as the characters evolve over the years.
However, while the show's storyline and characters evolve, so do many cast and crew members — like Kaldur's voice actor Khary Payton, who took on episode writing.
Throughout the series, Kaldur's rise to leadership within the Justice League is prominently depicted, culminating in the episode "Leviathan Wakes," written by Payton himself.
In the episode, Kaldur retrieves an ancient Atlantean crown linked to a prophecy about the return of Atlantis's true king, which the evil Vandal Savage secretly manipulates.
