Millie Bobby Brown Struggled Through Eleven's Waffle Eating On The Set Of Stranger Things

In "Stranger Things," when Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven finally escapes Hawkins Laboratory, she is given an Eggo waffle for breakfast. The Eggo is her first taste of the sweet, processed goodness of American-made snacks and sparks an addiction to the toaster treats; however, ironically, Brown doesn't like waffles.
When Brown was 13, she told The Wrap, "I'm not a breakfast person." During a recent segment with WIRED, Brown actually admitted, "No, I don't [like waffles] and people think I do. But actually, in 'Stranger Things,' I had a little spit bucket next to me and I'd spit into it because I couldn't swallow the waffles because I'd gag."
When Brown was asked what breakfast items she actually enjoys, she gave an extremely Gen-Z answer by praising avocado toast. "That's my victory breakfast!" she exclaimed. "I ate it before the MTV Awards [and] I ate avocado toast before the SAG awards."
