Mica Burton Borrowed A Move From Geordi La Forge For Star Trek: Picard

LeVar Burton returns as Geordi La Forge on “Star Trek: Picard” and is now a father of two, Sidney and Alandra, with the latter played by Burton’s real-world daughter Mica.
While Sidney is quite different from her father, Alandra proves the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and shares many similarities with Geordi, including one particular pose.
The actress shared, “A mannerism I picked up from my dad [...] is that I hold my hands exactly how he holds his hands in front of him and behind him.”
Burton continued, “She (Alandra) so much looks up to her father that she so much wants to be like him, but also envies Sidney for having the courage to be somewhat different.”
Although it puts them in danger, Geordi is surely proud of his daughters’ willingness to fight for their beliefs, much like how LeVar is undoubtedly proud of Mica and her career.
