Mark Hamill Snuck Off The Star Wars Set For Some Dangerous Horseback Fun
By BJ COLANGELO
Laze "Fixer" Loneozner was cut from the final film, but the actor who played him, Anthony Forrest, was part of one of the silliest off-screen "Star Wars" production stories.
Forrest, with Garrick Hagon (Biggs Darlighter), and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) snuck out one night after Forrest had rented some horses to go riding across the Tunisian desert.
In an interview with Ethan Slater, Forrest said, "Had the insurance company known, they probably would have shot me on the spot.” Thankfully, no one got hurt.
To StarWars.com, Hagon recalled, "I mean, if anything had happened to Mark, that would have been a disaster. Fortunately, nothing did, but still. But it was great fun."
