Leonardo DiCaprio’s Improv Annoyed His Killers Of The Flower Moon Co-Stars
By VALERIE ETTENHOFER
While improving lines of dialogue can help movies, not everyone appreciates these creative efforts, as Leonardo DiCaprio found out while filming "Killers of the Flower Moon."
Legendary director Martin Scorsese shared with the Wall Street Journal that he often found himself side-eyeing DiCaprio's attempts to improve the script.
Scorsese said, “Every now and then, Bob [Robert De Niro] and I would look at each other and roll our eyes a little bit, and we'd tell [DiCaprio], 'You don't need that dialogue.'”
The humorous anecdote aligns very well with the characters the actors play in the film: De Niro is the assured mastermind to DiCaprio's oft-berated underling.
There's also something entertaining about one of the world's best directors and actors calling out another undeniably phenomenal actor for apparently being a try-hard.
