Kurt Russell Repeatedly Messed Up One Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Line
By ETHAN ANDERTON
Kurt Russell joined the MCU with a key role in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" as Ego, the long-lost father of Chris Pratt's character Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord.
However, the actor had an issue getting his on-screen son's name right, accidentally referring to Star-Lord as “Star Wars” while filming one scene.
In the film's special features, viewers can see several outtakes where Kurt Russell keeps referring to Chris Pratt's character as "Star Wars."
During the outtake, Russell says, "Well, even where I reside out past the edge of what's known, we've heard tales about the man they call Star Wars."
When the actor makes the mistake again, he gets amusingly exasperated with himself, saying, "Ugh. Yes, Star Wars. He's all of Star Wars. We've heard of the movie 'Star Wars.'"
