Kurt Russell Dragged His Stargate Co-Star James Spader Out Of His Trailer

According to "Stargate" co-writer Dean Devlin, tensions flared up between co-stars Kurt Russell and James Spader during the shooting of the 1994 sci-fi adventure film.
Spader, unhappy with the dialogue, persistently pushed for rewrites. One day, he reached a breaking point and refused to leave his trailer until the scenes were revised.
This led to a confrontation where an irritated Russell stormed into Spader's trailer. Spader, candid about his dissatisfaction, said, "Come on, admit it. The dialogue is horrible."
Russell bluntly acknowledged the issue, responding, "Of course, it's horrible. That's why they pay you a million dollars. If it was brilliant, you'd do it for free."
