Kevin Smith Is Bringing The Snyder Cut To Theaters, But There’s
A Catch
By BEN F. SILVERIO
Earlier this year, Kevin Smith become a co-owner of a New Jersey movie theatre he used to frequent as a child. The theater, which Smith rebranded as Smodcastle Cinemas, is set to include, among many offerings, a curated program of special screenings and Q&As. And among the first films announced is "Zack Snyder's Justice League."
Smith shared on his podcast that Snyder's involvement came about because Snyder had "never shown 'Justice League' in a theater once," so Smith encouraged his colleague to bring the film to his newly acquired theater for the fans to enjoy with him. Although, technically, this screening will mark the fourth time that "Zack Snyder's Justice League" will screen in a theater.
The only catch is you’ll need live near or be able to travel to New Jersey in order to attend the screening. While a date has not been set for the screening, it has been promised that it will take place next year. However, if you follow Smith's social media feeds, he will most definitely share that news when it becomes available.
