John Boyega Has A Hot Take On Which Star Wars Is Best
By WITNEY SEIBOLD
John Boyega, known for his role as Finn in the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy, has a distinct and somewhat controversial opinion on the best "Star Wars" movie of all time.
Contrary to the conventional fan preference for "Star Wars" (1977) or "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980), Boyega asserts that "Return of the Jedi" (1983) is the best installment.
In an interview with Star Wars Insider, he praises the film for its character development and emotional depth, loving how it captures Luke Skywalker "at a very vulnerable time."
Boyega also believes the film is a great mix of drama and comedy, and he highlights its expansion of the "Star Wars" universe through the introduction of Ewoks and other creatures.
Moreover, he appreciates the film's shift away from the droid-centric narrative of the earlier films to a focus on Luke's journey as a prominent Jedi, which he found compelling.
