Jesse Plemons Made One Of His Civil War Co-Stars Cry For Half An Hour

In “Civil War,” the main characters are captured by two soldiers, one of whom is played memorably by an uncredited Jesse Plemons, who turns in a brief but terrifying performance.
While being interviewed for the documentary, co-star Wagner Moura talked about how heightened the tension was in the scene, and how it got to him on an emotional level.
Moura said the moment was by far one of the film’s most intense. Plemons has very little screentime and this is his only scene, yet everything he does is electric
"When I read that scene [...] the racism and hate is so strong,” Moura said, “I laid down in the grass and I was crying [...] for half an hour after the scene...I was destroyed."
