Jason Bateman Feels He's Come 'Full Circle' Since His Time On Sliver Spoons
By TRAVIS YATES
The path to success has been long for Jason Bateman, who got his start in television at 12 on "Little House on the Prairie'' and recently reinvented himself in the dark Netflix series "Ozark." Currently, Bateman is also a producer, director, and owner of his own production company, Aggregate Films.
As successful as Bateman is, the actor has always remained true to his roots and there’s probably a good reason why. It turns out that Bateman’s Aggregate Films office, located at Universal Studios, is situated right next to the building where he did his schoolwork while working on "Silver Spoons" as a child.
"Having an office here, in this same bungalow, is just like this incredibly humbling full-circle kind of great thing," Bateman confessed. Even when Bateman took a break from acting for a decade before his comeback, Bateman played golf nearly every day across the street from Universal Studios.
Being close to Universal Studios kept the actor from drifting too far from the industry he loved. "I would look across and I would remember 'Silver Spoons' and 'It's Your Move' just on the other side of the castle walls, and I'd think, 'I'd love to be able to have another crack at it,' the actor revealed, explaining why he'll never forget his start in the business.
