Is Hocus Pocus 3 Still Happening At Disney?

The 1993 cult classic "Hocus Pocus" finally got a sequel in 2022 with "Hocus Pocus 2" on Disney+ with an ending that sets up the possibility of another film.
Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, told The New York Times that "'Hocus Pocus 3' is happening," but didn’t provide any further details.
While Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker — Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson, respectively — are interested, they’re unsure of the franchise’s future.
Midler told Entertainment Weekly, "If there was a third one, of course, I'd sign on, but I don't know how." The film's story would have to justify her return.
Other cast members from both films have shared their desire to return if a third film happens, such as Omri Katz, who played Max Dennison in the original "Hocus Pocus."
Katz told EW that he would happily return, if Disney asked. "It would be an honor to return, hopefully with some of my fellow castmates, and make a fun addition to the franchise!"
