Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny Trailer: Harrison Ford Dons The Fedora Again
By JEREMY MATHAI
Almost 15 years after “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” hit theaters, Harrison Ford is picking up the iconic whip and donning the fedora for one final adventure as the swashbuckling archaeologist. Lucasfilm has released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated film, revealing the official title as “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.”
Only small bits of information have been leaked over the previous months, with much of the movie’s plot being tightly under wraps. What is known is that joining Ford for Indy’s final ride are notable actors like Mads Mikkelsen in the role of the villain, “Fleabag” star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thomas Kretschmann, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Antonio Banderas.
Although Steven Spielberg didn’t direct the final film, stepping in for him was “Walk the Line” and “Logan” director James Mangold. The movie will also feature John Williams composing one of his last-ever musical scores, lending even more of a sense of swan-song nostalgia to the production. “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will drop into theaters on June 30, 2023.
