How To Watch The Jack Ryan Movies In Order

The Jack Ryan novels became the go-to for airport reading of a generation. Tom Clancy authored or co-authored 14 of them before his death in 2013.
There have been five Jack Ryan movies and one TV series and here's how to watch them in the correct sequence, kicking off with John McTiernan's "The Hunt for Red October" (1990).
Next is Phillip Noyce's "Patriot Games" (1992) followed by Phillip Noyce's "Clear and Present Danger" (1994) and then Phil Alden Robinson's "The Sum of All Fears" (2002).
After Kenneth Branagh's "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" (2014) we have the latest installment "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" (TV series, 2018 – 2023).
