Hopper's Giant Stranger Things Sword Was Previously Swung By Arnold Schwarzenegger

Spoiler Warning!
This story contains spoilers for "Stranger Things" Season 4.
In an incredible moment of the Season 4 finale of “Stranger Things,” Jim Hopper (David Harbour) wields a massive sword found in the Russian prison and slays a dreaded demogorgon by decapitating the creature. The blade is an Easter egg, and some fans might have recognized the weapon as the sword used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1982 film “Conan the Barbarian.”
Harbour told GQ magazine, "I don't know if you saw this, but that sword I pick up — it's the actual prop sword they used in Conan the Barbarian ... It's the sword that Schwarzenegger swings in the movie." The actor later took to Instagram to share images of the sword as proof that the prop used was the authentic, hand-forged Atlantean weapon wielded by Conan.
Fans may be wondering where the sword came from, as it seems to have mysteriously appeared in the gladiatorial pit when the hero needed it to vanquish the monster. The prop was revealed earlier in Episode 7 as one of many weapons available for prisoners to battle the beast from the Upside-Down — its initial wielder appears to have not been as lucky as Hopper.
