Harrison Ford Requested One Millennium Falcon Upgrade For The Force Awakens

When Harrison Ford returned to the role of Han Solo in "Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens" he made a small request concerning the Millennium Falcon.
According to the making-of documentary that accompanied the home release of "The Force Awakens," production designer Darren Gilford took Ford’s request.
Gilford said that Harrison Ford requested springs in the toggle switches. Ford explained, "'When we built it the first time, none of the toggle switches had any springs in 'em.'"
They opted to buy toggle switches at a low cost, but they lacked the necessary springs, resulting in moments where the toggles would slowly drop on their own.
Star Wars, a financially secure franchise, no longer needs to buy faulty switches at discounted rates. The designer replied to Ford, "Yeah boss, we got the budget for that."
