Harley Quinn’s Suicide Squad Costume Caused Real Pain For Margot Robbie

In 2016’s "Suicide Squad," 2020’s "Birds of Prey,” and 2021’s "The Suicide Squad," Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn had many outrageous outfits, but one was exceptionally painful.
The outfit in question is her main costume from the 2016 film. Alongside her tiny shorts that would’ve caused a constant wedgie, Robbie wore some seemingly out-for-blood wristwear.
In a Washington Post interview, Robbie was asked what filming the "Suicide Squad" rain scenes wearing full makeup felt like. The actor revealed that the worst part was her bangles.
"Not just the makeup, but the wig, the costume. [...] Actually, the worst thing were the gold bangles. They had spikes on them, and I'd always stab myself. I hated them," she said.
The bangles Robbie wears in "Suicide Squad" are exceptionally pointy. Wearing such things can be hazardous, let alone swinging a bat or doing various acrobatics with them on.
