Filming This Witcher Season 3 Scene Was Painful To The Point Of Tears

Season 3 of “The Witcher” took its casts to many locations with extreme climates, such as Slovenia. It was used for its very real snowswept landscape during the opening arc.
The early days of production on “The Witcher” Season 3 were centered on the border of Italy and Slovenia, including a pair of glacial lakes called Laghi di Fusine.
Talking with Digital Fix, Yennefer actress Anya Chalotra said, “It was very cold, and on the second day of shooting I remember bawling my eyes out because I couldn’t feel my feet.”
Ciri actress Freya Allan also echoed her co-star’s sentiment, saying, “I remember bawling my eyes out too because I was like, ‘This is just too much!’”
Recalling that day during a later interview with PopBuzz, Chalotra said it was “probably the most challenging” scene for her since it was at the very beginning of the shoot.
