Star Wars TV Series, Ranked
By RAFAEL MOTAMAYOR
12. Ewoks
Despite being co-created by "Batman: The Animated Series" creator Paul Dini and the finale’s cool connection to "Return of the Jedi,” “Ewoks” never overcomes its cheap Saturday morning cartoon feel. Instead of adding to the “Star Wars” story, it just seems like a ploy to sell more merchandise and toys.
11. Droids
While the animation is better than “Ewoks,” that’s not saying much. It did have potential with Anthony Daniels reprising his role as C-3P0 and fans getting a look at the underworld of “Star Wars,” but its limited budget and cheap animation prevented the show from being truly great.
10. Holiday Special
“The Star Wars Holiday Special” is in a variety show format, and is so bad that George Lucas, and many other people who had worked on it, pretend that it doesn’t exist. While there are appearances from most of the main cast, the end result is atrocious making this deeply weird special little more than a sarcastically beloved piece of "Star Wars" history.
9. Book of Boba Fett
The problem with “The Book of Boba Fett” is that the best parts, like the return of Din Djarin and Grogu, aren’t about the titular character. While the visuals are amazing, the story is lackluster, and portraying Boba Fett as a kind crime boss doesn’t resonate with viewers.
8. The Bad Batch
The premiere showcased phenomenal animation, as well as camera and lighting work that surpassed some live-action movies. While the episodes that follow failed to capture that initial excitement, there is still a lot to enjoy, including the fantastic character, Omega, and V.O. actor Dee Bradley Baker skillfully giving every clone a distinct voice and personality.
