Every Main Character In The Fabelmans Ranked Worst To Best

Spoiler Warning!
This story contains spoilers for Steven Spielberg's "The Fabelmans."
10. Reggie Fabelman
Julia Butters plays a perceptive younger sister who is closest to Sammy in age, and who seeks comfort from him after learning their parents are getting a divorce. While Butters makes Reggie a memorable character, it's a shame she doesn't get more moments to shine.
9. Chad Thomas
After moving to California, Sammy contends with antisemitic bullying from a popular kid named Chad (Oakes Fegley). His mocking of Sammy's Jewish identity is based on prejudice, ignorance, and hatred, but it's also pretty pathetic.
8. Burt Fabelman
Based on Steven Spielberg's father, Burt is a computer engineer who dismisses his son's passion for filmmaking, as he pressures Sammy to choose his family over art. Paul Dano particularly shines in the film's final act when, despite not understanding his son's love of film, his face radiates pride anyway.
7. Bennie
Seth Rogen plays a close family friend who is in love with the mother, Mitzi, and becomes a source of resentment for Sammy. Bennie later shows his heart is in the right place when Sammy sells his camera, and he buys the kid an upgraded model, telling him not to break his mother’s heart.
6. Logan Hall
Sam Rechner plays a top dog student, who is disturbed by his own phony god-like status that Sammy’s Senior Skip Day film reveals. The two reach a mutual understanding of one another, afterwards, making it an interesting way to resolve the film's bullying storyline.
