Every Main Character In M3GAN, Ranked
By JESSICA SCOTT
Spoiler Warning!
This story contains spoilers for "M3GAN."
10. Gemma
Gemma (Allison Williams) is a terrible guardian; she doesn't care at all about the safety and welfare of her niece Cady and goes as far as using her as a test subject, ignoring the warnings from Cady's therapist. She may be a technological wizard, but she is also completely amoral, and that is a dangerous combination.
9. Celia
Celia (Lori Dungey) isn't the least bit apologetic or sympathetic when her dog attacks M3GAN and Cady; instead, she accuses them of provoking her dog. She is not only a bad neighbor but also a bad person who values her dog's life more highly than a child's; still, she is better than Gemma, who only cares about herself.
8. Kurt
Kurt (Stephane Garneau-Monten) is the worst kind of co-worker: He is an obsequious yes man to his boss, steals company secrets, and looks at porn in the office. While his corporate espionage might pave the way for a sequel, he didn't have an altruistic reason for stealing those plans; he did that to make some money and hurt his boss.
7. Cole
Cole (Brian Jordan Alvarez) is one of Gemma's two colleagues who help her work on M3GAN; he is a coward through and through, never taking responsibility for his actions and always trying to put someone else in danger. He only ranks this high on the list because (a) he isn't surfing porn at work like Kurt, and (b) it is impossible to be worse than Gemma.
6. David
David (Ronny Chieng) is the CEO of the toy company Funki, and he only cares about the profitability of the company and his self-interest. He doesn't seem terribly concerned with the ethical quandaries that Gemma's work poses, but he has enough plausible deniability to rank higher than the other characters listed thus far.
