13. Aegon
Despite the public opinion that Aegon Targaryen should be the one to inherit the Iron Throne, he wants nothing to do with the responsibility that comes with it. Aegon acts like a goofy teen and is fun to laugh at, but his one-dimensional personality can’t compete with the other characters.
12. Sir Criston
Criston Cole had the potential to be one of the show’s best characters, but he crushed himself with the weight of his absurd fantasies. After killing Joffrey Lonmouth and bad-mouthing Rhaenyra, Criston is now one of the worst characters “House of the Dragon” has to offer.
11. Aemond
After getting picked on for not having a dragon, Aemond took matters into his own hands by claiming Vhagar only hours after her previous rider Laena Velaryon died. He then beat up Laena’s daughters and lost the respect of the audience for being so cruel.
10. Leanor
Laenor Velaryon is a skilled warrior and should be a strong ally for the Targaryen family, but he’s virtually abandoned Rhaenyra to handle the weight of the crown on her own. He’s a good man with a good heart, but he’s extremely detached from his duties and the rest of the show.
9. Larys
Larys Strong is a cold-hearted killer that was willing to murder his father and brother to earn a favor from the Queen. He’s a smart man with hidden motives, and although he’s certainly not a good person, he’s quickly becoming one of the most interesting characters in the series.
