Every Actor Who Was In Both Breaking Bad And Bones
By SANDY SCHAEFER
From 2008 to 2013, "Breaking Bad" and "Bones" shared the airwaves. While viewership may have displayed opposite tastes, several stars appeared on both shows.
Before his tenure as Gus Fring on "Breaking Bad," Giancarlo Esposito made his way into the "Bones" universe in season 1, episode 19, "The Man in the Morgue."
A shaggy-haired Aaron Paul played Stew Ellis, a stereotypical, pretentious comic book store owner, in "Bones" season 1, episode 12, "The Superhero in the Alley."
Better known on "Breaking Bad" as Jesse Pinkman, Paul's "Bones" episode was a dark and heart-breaking murder mystery that didn't leave room for chucklesome Stew to make an encore.
Dean Norris played Donald Timmons, a father who gets unwittingly entangled in a dog fighting ring on "Bones" season 4, episode 4, "The Finger in the Nest."
Norris' story creates some emotional development for Bones, who becomes uncharacteristically vulnerable — a different vibe than his role as "Breaking Bad's" Hank.
