Deadpool & Wolverine’s Villain Has An Absolutely Bonkers Backstory

Movie spoilers can come in many forms, from leaked photos to actors accidentally spilling details. However, the spoilers for “Deadpool & Wolverine” stem from an unlikely source.
A copyright claim filed on behalf of “Deadpool & Wolverine” to the U.S. Copyright Office may have revealed the film’s villain to be Cassandra Nova, an X-Men antagonist.
Cassandra is Charles Xavier’s twin sister. The X-Men leader detected evil within Cassandra while both were in the womb and decided to kill his own unborn sister’s fetus.
However, Cassandra survived the ordeal and pieced herself together one cell at a time on a sewer wall, slowly nursing a grudge to take vengeance upon her brother.
Actor Emma Corrin’s role in the film has been kept under wraps, but they will likely play Cassandra. “Deadpool & Wolverine” will premiere in theaters on July 26, 2024.
