Bryce Dallas Howard Is Officially Entering The Star Wars Universe As A Jedi
By JENNA BUSCH
Bryce Dallas Howard is no stranger to the “Star Wars” Universe, having directed two episodes of “The Mandalorian” and an episode of “The Book of Boba Fett.” Howard will reportedly return to direct more episodes in Season 3 of “The Mandalorian,” but she’ll also be tackling a new role in the animated "Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” series on Disney+.
Howard is voicing the Jedi Master Yaddle, who comes from the same species as Yoda and Baby Grogu. Yaddle first appeared in the “Star Wars” universe during “The Phantom Menace," where she served as a member of the Jedi Council that met Anakin Skywalker before the dark side took hold of him.
Over the years, Yaddle has also appeared in books, audiobooks, graphic novels, and the "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” video game. There’s even a chance the character will be back in the upcoming live-action series "The Acolyte," which is set 100 years before the events of “The Phantom Menace” took place.
