Beetlejuice 2 Had To Rush Through Filming Some Of Its Most Important Scenes

Filming the highly anticipated “Beetlejuice” sequel, which will be released in 2024, has had its share of production challenges, notably a need to expedite certain crucial scenes.
Tim Burton, famous for the original “Beetlejuice,” returned to Winter River, Connecticut, to continue the quirky story centered around Astrid Deetz (Jenna Ortega).
Ortega discussed this more in-depth with Vanity Fair, saying, “For a lot of the cast that was revisiting Vermont, it felt weird to rush such a sentimental moment.”
Ortega depicted the experience as "a celebration of everyone being back together and doing practical effects again” and that Tim Burton seemed particularly joyful.
“It was probably the happiest I had ever seen Tim on a set, where he's clapping at the monitor and shouting and laughing, which was really, really endearing," Ortega added.
