A Sneaky Marvel Easter Egg May Confirm A Major Fantastic Four Movie Detail
By JEREMY MATHAI
During the 1960s, the Fantastic Four was one of the most popular comic book ensembles. This iconic quartet includes Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing.
Fast forward to 2024 with the announcement of a new Fantastic Four featuring an entirely new cast and positioning the team at the forefront of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, a recently released Marvel poster confirms that the Fantastic Four's timeline aligns with their comic book origins, alluding to a cleverly placed Easter egg.
The Easter egg is in a 1963 LIFE Magazine cover featuring President Lyndon B. Johnson at the White House, hinting at parallels with real-life events and a potential setting.
While fans have voiced their reluctance for another Fantastic Four origin film, integrating the team's beginnings within the '60s context adds depth to the storytelling.
The ensemble for the upcoming film features Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Mrs. Invisible, Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.
