A Frasier Sequel at Paramount+ Will Deliver More Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs
By BEN F. SILVERIO
Talks about a sequel to the beloved “Frasier” series started in 2018, and it appears these talks were fruitful as Paramount+ has officially greenlit the project. Kelsey Grammer will star and executive produce the series, with Chris Harris of “How I Met Your Mother,” and Joe Cristalli of “Life In Pieces” joining as the writers.
While little is known about the sequel, the show will take place in a new city, and the surviving cast members of the original spinoff such as David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin are not expected to be series regulars, but they could make guest appearances.
Although no information about the number of episodes is available, it’s expected that the first season will have 10 episodes. Now that the show is officially greenlit we expect more details to be forthcoming sooner rather than later.
