5 Actors We'd Love to See Play Aloy in Netflix's Horizon Series
By BJ COLANGELO
Talia Ryder
Actor and model Talia Ryder is one of the most exciting new actors in the industry, having performed on Broadway in "Matilda the Musical," and as one of the stars of the captivating "Never Rarely Sometimes Always." Ryder's Broadway dancing background shows she's a capable mover which could give her a knack for learning fight choreography, too.
Ellie Bamber
Bamber has appeared in a number of acclaimed TV series and films, like "Nocturnal Animals," High Resolution," "The Trial of Christine Keeler," and "The Serpent." But it’s the aesthetic she’s displaying in the new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series "Willow," that has her giving off Aloy vibes.
Liv Hewson
Star of "Santa Clarita Diet" and "Yellowjackets," Hewson deserves to be an absolute superstar. Hewson brings a natural toughness to all of their roles, and a character like Aloy fits perfectly in their wheelhouse. There's an intensity to the way they handle their action scenes, displaying effortless confidence in the face of danger.
Sophia Lillis
Lillis has been tackling complex roles since the start of her career, like in "Uncle Frank" and "Sharp Objects." Lillis definitely looks the part and knowing she's playing Doric in the upcoming "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," it's safe to assume she can pull off action.
Erin Kellyman
Kellyman has had an undeniably impressive streak as of late, performing in "Solo: A Star Wars Story," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," and "The Green Knight," and will soon also star in the "Willow" series for Disney+. Kellyman has a fantastic repertoire of performing in epic properties, so something like "Horizon" would fit perfectly in her comfort zone.
