Paul Feig, director of "The School For Good And Evil," said in an interview with IGN, "The first thing people are going to think about with a movie like this is Harry Potter." He is right; it's hard to watch a film that features a magical school and not think about the "Harry Potter" series.

Meryl Streep plays an evil witch who places a curse on the family of a humble baker in “Into the Woods.” The film relies heavily on fairy-tale narratives to power its story and isn’t afraid to play fast and loose with viewers’ expectations, just like “The School for Good and Evil.”
