Movie Trailer: The Roommate

Screen Gems has released a movie trailer for their new horror/thriller The Roommate. The film stars Minka Kelly as a college student named Sara who finds her safety jeopardized after she's assigned to a dorm room with a new roommate, Rebecca (played by Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester). The film co-stars Alyson Michalka (Easy A, Bandslam), Cam Gigandet (Twilight), Matt Lanter (90210, Sorority Row), and Danneel Harris (One Tree Hill, The Back-up Plan). The film is directed by Denmark-born filmmaker Christian E. Christiansen (Zoomers) and was written by The Lake House/The Strangers producer-turned-first-time-screenwriter Sonny Mallhi.
