Forbes has released their annual list of the highest paid actresses and actors. Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence tops the actress list, while Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr tops the highest paid actor list. Not any big surprises there. Here’s the top 18 highest paid actresses of 2015  as revealed Thursday on CBS This Morning:

  1. Jennifer Lawrence: $52,000,000
  2. Scarlett Johansson: $35,500,000
  3. Melissa McCarthy: $23,000,000
  4. Bingbing Fan: $21,000,000
  5. Jennifer Aniston: $16,500,000
  6. Julia Roberts: $16,000,000
  7. Angelina Jolie: $15,000,000
  8. Reese Witherspoon: $15,000,000
  9. Anne Hathaway: $12,000,000
  10. Kristen Stewart: $12,000,000
  11. Cameron Diaz: $11,000,000
  12. Gwyneth Paltrow: $9,000,000
  13. Meryl Streep: $8,000,000
  14. Amanda Seyfried: $8,000,000
  15. Sandra Bullock: $8,000,000
  16. Emma Stone: $6,500,000
  17. Mila Kunis: $6,500,000
  18. Natalie Portman: $6,000,000

The bigger surprises on this list include Bingbing Fan (best known to American audiences for her role in X-Men: Days of Future Past), who is the fourth highest paid actress of the year and the only non-American thanks to roles in movies such as The White-Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom and endorsements with Chopard and L’Oreal.

Sandra Bullock who topped Forbes’ 2014 highest paid actresses list thanks to Alfonso Curon’s film Gravity, dropped this year to #15 as she had no released film projects in 2014 (she provided the voice of Scarlett Overkill in Minions earlier this Summer).


And here is the previously revealed list of the top 10 highest paid actors in 2015:

  1. Robert Downey Jr.: $80 million
  2. Jackie Chan: $50 million
  3. Vin Diesel: $47 million
  4. Bradley Cooper: $41.5 million
  5. Adam Sandler: $41 million
  6. Tom Cruise: $40 million
  7. Amitabh Bachchan: $33.5 million
  8. Salman Khan: $33.5 million
  9. Akshay Kumar: $32.5 million
  10. Mark Wahlberg: $32 million

The big surprises here might be Jackie Chan, who earned the money internationally from highly profitable franchises such as Dragon Blade, as well as merchandise tie-ins and a cinema chain which he has a sponsorship deal with.

There are a couple other Asian stars on this list, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar earned more than popular American actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp.
