Bloomberg Counts The Important Things In The 'Fast And Furious' Franchise [Infographic]

With the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise arriving this weekend, we'll get all-new sequences of ridiculous action, explosions and uses of the word family. Those are just some of the things you can expect from each and every film in the franchise, and the folks at Bloomberg decided to fiercely crunch the numbers for all of the seven previous movies leading up to The Fate of the Furious. The result is a plethora of infographics counting everything from how many shots there are of odometers/tachometers to how much screentime is given to female butts.

Check out the Fast and Furious infographics after the jump.

Here are just some of the numbers rounded up by Bloomberg's Stats of the Furious:

I'd really like to know why 2 Fast 2 Furious went all in on shots of the odometers and tachometers. Maybe since the movie has to be too fast and too furious they wanted to prove just how fast and furious they were being in this movie? Then again, maybe they were just trying to fill time and didn't have enough coverage shot on set that they needed to use insert shots more frequently than usual.

It's also funny to see just how much screentime has exposed male biceps compared to how much of a focus there is on female butts. Then again, it only makes sense that there are more biceps since it's perfectly normal to see sleeveless shirts among Dominic Toretto and his crew, but it's not really practical for the camera to show the backside of ladies anywhere near as frequently. If you want that, then you'll have to watch a much different movie.
