Entire DC Comics Library on DC Universe

WonderCon is happening over in Anaheim, California right now, and the DC Universe subscription service delivered some good news to fans with big announcements about the continued expansion of what’s available for $7.99 a month.

Starting in April, DC Universe will make the entire DC Comics digital library available to subscribers. Until now, the selection has been disappointing, but this alone is worth the price of the subscription. And that’s not all. DC Universe also announced a release date for their upcoming Swamp Thing series, gave a first look at Stargirl, and revealed when the second season of Titans and the rest of Young Justice: Outsiders will arrive. doom patrol trailer

Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane, and Cyborg — all wildly different superheroes that you wouldn’t expect to see teamed up. But in Doom Patrol, they become a team of misfit heroes whose superhuman abilities are both a blessing and a curse.

The latest DC Universe original series is getting positive notices from critics for being a wacky and weird departure from the serious tone plaguing many superhero shows, but the latest Doom Patrol trailer has a pretty dark tone to it. The extended trailer goes into each member’s tragic backstory, each of which only made them “stronger” and “stranger.”

Titans Season Finale Trailer

The first season of Titans is coming to an end. As you may recall, the first trailer for the DC Universe streaming series had Brenton Thwaites proudly proclaiming, “Fuck Batman,” and it sounds like The Dark Knight wasn’t too happy about that, because he’s coming back with a vengeance.

The Titans season finale trailer has arrived online, and instead of just talking about Batman, the Caped Crusader himself returns in a big way. After Commissioner Gordon is killed, Gotham City has gotten out of control, and apparently Batman is sick of it. He’s hellbent on killing The Joker, and it looks like he might be taking a couple other iconic DC Comics villains down too. So much for that whole rule about not killing people. Read More »
