VOTD: Filmmaker Deathmatch - Kubrick Vs. Scorsese, Tarantino Vs. The Coen Brothers

It all started when Leandro Copperfield decided to watch all the movies of his two favorite filmmakers over a ten day period. Copperfield edited together a seven and a half minute video mash-up of the films of Quentin Tarantino and the Coen Brothers. The finished video features clips from more than 500 scenes, cut to five different songs. We never featured this video on /Film, and judging by the video stats, only 1,200 people have ever seen it... until now.

But it doesn't stop there, Copperfield returned to create a new filmmaker duel, featuring two more of his favorite directors: Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese. He watched 34 films in 25 days, and edited more than 500 scenes into this one seven and a ahlf minute video.

Both videos are now available for your viewing pleasure, embedded after the jump.
