Here’s a quick blast of three trailers for upcoming TV shows. We’ve got the action and drama of Camelot, which looks a bit like Spartacus without quite so much blood and sex. Then MTV’s adaptation of the show Skins, replete with sex, drugs and something that might be rock and roll, but is probably just Sleigh Bells. Finally, there’s Fox’s Breaking In, a security services workplace comedy starring Christian Slater, Bret Harrison, and Odette Yustman. All three are after the break.

First up is Camelot, which will run on Starz starting Friday April 1, and has a plot that goes like this:

In the wake of King Uther’s sudden death, the sorcerer Merlin has visions of a dark future and installs Arthur as king. The 10-episode epic drama redefines the classic medieval tale of King Arthur with an exciting ensemble cast including: Joseph Fiennes reimagining the iconic role of Merlin, Jamie Campbell Bower as the young and reckless Arthur, and Eva Green in her television debut as the darkly powerful Morgan. The character-driven series also features Tamsin Egerton (Guinevere), Claire Forlani (Igraine) and Peter Mooney (Kay).

OK, the following isn’t actually a trailer for Skins, but rather a scene shot specifically to promote the show, and indicate where it is going to go.

Finally here’s the trailer, and then the synopsis for Breaking In, which premieres April 6 at 9:30/8:30c. Let’s hope it’s a better TV outing for Mr. Slater.

BREAKING IN is an offbeat half-hour workplace comedy about a high-tech security firm that takes extreme – and often questionable – measures to sell their protection services. Created by Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon, the series centers on a team of uniquely skilled oddball geniuses hand-picked to work for a manipulative mastermind.

Contra Security, corporate America’s answer to “The A-Team,” gives clients a sense of security by first ripping it away. The firm is led by OZ (Christian Slater), a larger-than-life head honcho who is a man of mystery and master of manipulation. The members of the odd squad include alluring bad girl MELANIE (Odette Yustman), who is in charge of lock-picking, safe-cracking and heart-breaking; and CASH (Alphonso McAuley), a fanboy who specializes in strategy, logistics and office pranks only a mad genius could think up.

Oz’s newest recruit, plucked right out of college, is lovable and charming computer hacker CAMERON PRICE (Bret Harrison). Unfortunately for Cameron, cracking into state-of-the-art security systems is a lot easier than dealing with his co-workers. Between Melanie’s sex appeal and Cash’s hazing, Cameron has more than a few obstacles to overcome if he wants to cement his status as part of the team and become Oz’s go-to guy.

BREAKING IN is produced by Happy Madison Productions, Adam F. Goldberg Productions and Sethsquatch, Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television. Goldberg, Gordon and Doug Robinson (“Rules of Engagement”) serve as executive producers, while Goldberg serves as writer. The pilot was directed by Gordon.
