they dont care about the continuity of that anyway they filmed in Bethlehem Pennsylvania and are passing it off as shanghai china continuity of location is one of the smallest factors in action flicks especially when its just a parking lot

oh my gosh! although i don't know why i bother since i'm the only one who still comes to this website, but did anybody watch the superbowl? because they showed a commercial for transformers revenge of the fallen. and it looks so fricken good. although i didin't like the fact that my Optimus Prime got wacked in the face, he'll probably just turn around and bust whoever's ass smacked him. but yes its been made obvious that the sequel is gonna be a hit. badass from my perspective!

Jetfire probably has a Decepticon badge coz Orginally in Gen 1 when he first appeared he joined the Decepticons for a short period as he was best friends with Starscream before he joined the Autobots

Part 2:
Not aware that a war had taken place and happy to see Starscream he willing joined the decepticon because he was told that the autobots were vicious malice killers that want to plunder the universe. After witnessing both teams in battle he ended up capturing Spike and Sparkplug (our autobot human counterparts). He witnesses first hand megatron cruelty and switches sides in a herioc fashion that cause every child of the 80's generation to BEG their parents to take them to a toy store to get the figure. Original all autobots were cars and all decepticons were airplanes or weapons of some sort. This was the first time the autobot side got an airplane on the team and he was freakin big compared to the rest of the team members. He took starscream thundercracker and skywarp out of commision and sacrificed himself at the end only…to be revived 2-3 episodes later. He was the isht..well until Grimlock and Dinobots were created..and then the Insecticions…oh yeah forgot about Devastor. Now that was a good battle. The dinobots vs the constructions…man you have to cop so original eps. The crap they put out now does not in any way shape or form compare

I think you are refering to that "new" cartoon continutity. That crap doesnt unfortunately count as Transformers in my book. My friend you need to grab all 98 episodes of the original series on dvd. The real 1980s story of jetfire/skyfire is that he and Starscream were both scientist on Cybertron. Prior to the great War on Cybertron they were exploring galaxies. They were crusing around earth when a strong artic wind knocked Jetfire(Skyfire as his name was in the original series) out of the atmosphere and he crashed landed in the artic circle. Starscream searched for him relentlessly but to no avail went back to cybertron. The two of them were closer than brothers. Millions of yrs later after the transformers crash landed on earth. Megatron had a plan to steal the harnest the earths energy at the north pole. While diggin in the earth Frenzy unwittingly freed Jetfire from his icy tomb. …

I have basically have every Transformers movie, and comic book, and I know my research. But It stunned me that Um about 100% sure in the 2nd movie every one who died comes back and Optimus Prime dies. Then I watc h one of my old aantimated movies of Transformers and it shows how and why Prime dies. And then in the 3rd movie he comes back alive. And too let all of you no I think Hotrod is in this movie, and Jetfire.

But in the trailers Jetfire has a DEcepticon sign on him, but he really is in AUTOBOt, the allspark triggereed a miscaculation when he came, because he 1st was on no 1s side. So then He picked the Autobots to join. But Unicroncontrolled him some way from the allspark so thats why it shows him witha DEcepticon sign.
And hes won of PRIMES bestfriends, andis one of Primes Generals, that Prime picks. BY the way Chris and MIke you are both somewhat right!

by the way, what's with the 'this talk is starting to get stale'? i thought the purpose for posting comments on this website was to talk transformers with people who have the same obsession as you do. if some want to have conversations about something, let them do it. if you wanna bring something up, bring it up but have at least a little respect for those who had an idea before you and don't call their conversation stale.

As for Primes death, if you read some comments you will find that subject being mentioned. I don’t know where these people are geting their info, but more than one person has said the same thing. And I know that MP Skywarp is a repaint of MP Starscream. Even the old G1 jets where produced using the same mold. So there’s no big mystery there.
