'Thor: Ragnarok' Intro Video: Taika Waititi's Parents Wish He Was J.J. Abrams
Last year's blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok will be available on Blu-ray and DVD next month, and it will include a slew of bonus features, including deleted scenes, featurettes that go behind the scenes of the making of the movie, a brand new short film featuring Thor's former roommate Darryl shacking up with The Grandmaster, and much more.
One of the special features is a little introduction to the movie by director Taika Waititi, and it's every bit as funny as Thor: Ragnarok. In the video, he talks about which movies they were trying to emulate, such as My Fair Lady and Independence Day, and the struggles he had living up to his parents' aspirations for him to be J.J. Abrams instead. The Thor Ragnarok intro video is the perfect way to set the stage for Marvel's cosmic adventure.
