Prepare yourselves: an onslaught of animated Dr. Seuss movies could very well be coming your way.

A new report states that Warner Animation Group has signed a deal with Dr. Seuss Enterprises that will allow the company to produce “a series of films” based on the works of the legendary children’s author, and the first one on the docket is a new take on the The Cat in the Hat. No word yet on whether they’ll try to lure Mike Myers to reprise the role from that bizarre live-action 2003 interpretation.

Scooby-Doo reboot

Last summer we learned that Warner Bros. was putting together a new big screen version of Scooby-Doo, but at the time it wasn’t clear if it would be another live-action/CG hybrid or if the studio would return to Hanna-Barbera cartoon roots with an animated feature film. Now we have our answer.
