The Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson comedy The Internship seems destined to be one of those movies that a relative just leaves on TV when stumbling across it during one of the holidays, when everyone else is too stuffed full of food and drink to object.
But you can possibly thank the film for this deleted scene, in which the character played by Will Ferrell discovers that the whole cosplaying scene is pretty hot, in a “swinging ’70s” sorta way. In fact, he seems to be angling more for the furry scene than anything else, but doing so while dressed as Boba Fett. There’s a fandom commentary in here, I’m sure of it. And if nothing else, this is proof that even a movie that you have no interest in might end up hiding a nugget of comedy.
Check out the scene below, and note that it is not safe for work due to language. Read More »

Indie romcoms about self-doubting writers and quirky hipster goddesses are a dime a dozen, but Kat Coiro‘s A Case of You has a special secret weapon in the form of one Peter Dinklage. While the main romance revolves around Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood, the Game of Thrones star seems poised to steal every scene he’s in as an odd barista with a hideous mustache. Many a movie has centered on a man learning he has a kid he knew nothing about. Far fewer have followed what happens when a guy discovers he has 533 kids he’s never met.
Directed by Ken Scott based on his own French-Canadian comedy, Delivery Man stars Vince Vaughn as aimless 40something David Wozniak, who gets the unexpected news that he’s fathered 533 kids thanks to a mix-up at the clinic years ago. Once the initial shock wears off, he becomes curious about his offspring and starts to serve as a sort of guardian angel for several of them. Chris Pratt and Cobie Smulders also star. Watch the new trailer after the jump.
Vince Vaughn‘s bro-ish onscreen persona doesn’t make him seem like he’d be a good father to one kid, let alone a few hundred. But that’s precisely the predicament he finds himself in in Delivery Man, Ken Scott’s English-language remake of his own 2011 Canadian comedy Starbuck.
David Wozniak (Vaughn) is an aimless 40something who discovers that, thanks to a mix-up at a fertility clinic two decades ago, he has 533 children running around. Now 142 of those kids are suing to learn the identity of their shared dad. Luckily for Vaughn, he has some crack legal assistance in the form of
Burt Macklin Star-Lord Chris Pratt. Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) also stars. Hit the jump to see the first teaser.
