Transformers: Age of Extinction opens Thursday night and is sure to be the biggest movie at the box office for the next couple weeks. That suggests people are rabid for content based on the movie and, as per the laws of the Internet, everyone is happy to oblige. Case in point: three cool, but very different videos on the franchise are now online.

One will recap what happened over the seven-hour running time of the first three Transformers movies. The second features Red Letter Media watching those first three movies simultaneously with hilarious results, and the third shows how director Michael Bay used 3D in the new film. GI Joe Transformers movie

Hasbro owns G.I. Joe and Transformers. Paramount distributes both the G.I. Joe and Transformers films. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura produces both film franchises. All of which means the potential for a crossover is one hundred-percent there. It almost seems too easy, especially in the modern Hollywood where crossovers like The Avengers, Batman v Superman and X-Men: Days of Future Past have become the norm. Michael Bay IMAX 3D Digital Camera

Transformers: Age of Extinction is the first feature film to shoot with a brand new, digital IMAX 3D camera. It’s also one of two films being released in full IMAX this year. Early Buzz Transformers Age of Extinction

Though it picks up after the events Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers: Age of Extinction isn’t just a sequel but also a quasi-reboot. It introduces a new cast of human characters and is intended to jumpstart a fresh trilogy.
