The Final girls trailer

I went into The Final Girls at SXSW this year having no idea what to expect from the horror/comedy Todd Strauss-Schulson. What I saw was a very funny comedy that has a good take on the tropes of slasher films, but also a movie that has a really effective core about dealing with difficult family trauma. The cast is led by Taissa Farmiga, Malin Akerman, and Nina Dobrev, with Alexander Ludwig, Alia Shawkat, Thomas Middleditch, and Adam Devine in major roles. Check out The Final Girls trailer here. Conan Wolverine auditions

We all know that Hugh Jackman can’t be Wolverine in the X-Men franchise forever, and we’ve heard that the Australian actor is done with the role that made him a star after he completes a starring turn in the third Wolverine film in 2017. But don’t worry, because he’s also slated to pop up in X-Men: Apocalypse and may have a cameo in Deadpool.

Still, someone has to pick up the claws and replace Jackman eventually. So as part of his stream of Comic-Con themed episodes this week, being shot in San Diego, Conan revealed some of the auditions to play Wolverine with names like Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex,) Hannibal Buress (Neighbors), Patton Oswalt (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and more in the running.

Henchmen

By their very nature, henchmen fall pretty low on the hierarchy of evil. But that isn’t stopping Henchmen from scaring up an impressive cast. James Marsden and Thomas Middleditch are set to lead the voice cast of the animated supervillain comedy, along with Rosario Dawson, Nathan Fillion, Alfred Molina, and many more. Get up to speed on the Henchman voice cast after the jump.  Read More »

Jason also happens to be Nardo’s best friend, however, and when Nardo winds up naked and alone in Mexico it’s up to Jason and their other pal Evan (Adam Pally) to rescue him. Watch the Search Party international trailer after the jump.

Created by Mike Judge, the half-hour comedy centers around a group of Bay Area techies who want to hit the big time — and then, somewhat unexpectedly, actually do so. Thomas Middleditch, T.J.
