Not only does his controversial film Red State hit all sorts of video on demand outlets today but AMC has just officially greenlit Secret Stash (working title), a reality show set in his Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash comic book store in Red Bank, NJ. The soon-to-be retired filmmaker is making sure that, after his final film Hit Somebody, he’ll have plenty of alternative media to keep himself busy. He’s already got his own Internet radio station, S.I.R., and he’s developing a reality TV show that will take place at his personal comic book shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash in Red Bank, NJ. Dubbed as sort of a “Pawn Stars for Fanboys,” the show has been casting over the last week and Smith just tweeted that he’s already got an awesome and unlikely network interested in airing it: AMC.
