If you’ve been reading /Film for a while, then you know that I love good movie-inspired art. And the superbowl of movie art is Crazy4Cult, an art show put on every year by Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. This year’s show will open on July 9th, and we have seen the first batch of artwork premiere online. For years I’ve been writing about the show, and posting and buying the art online. I’m super excited because this year I’ll be able to attend the event since I now live in Los Angeles.
Last week I posted the first compilation of the artwork from the show, including new pieces from Eric Tan, Dave Perillo, Tom Whalen and more. Click here to see Part 1!
Today I’ve returned to bring you a collection of art pieces which have since come online. Believe me, if you like movie art, hit the jump!

Do you remember those Little Golden Books? They were a staple from my childhood. Pixar Animation Story Artist Josh Cooley (Cars, Ratatouille, Up, George & AJ) is working on an awesome “Lil’ Inappropriate Golden Book” titled Movies R Fun.
Cooley has been working on this compilation of movie art for two years and will be publishing the collection in a book which will be available at Comic-Con this year and APE Expo San Francisco in November. And don’t worry, the books and prints will also be available on Cooley’s Blog. High quality, “classy” prints will also be available as well.
Illustrations reference film classics such as The Professional, Terminator 2, Godfather, Goodfellas, Apocalypse Now, Se7en, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Graduate, Terminator, Silence of the Lambs, and The Big Lebowski. Check out some of the art embedded after the jump.

Gallery1988 has provided us with another exclusive look at one of the many art pieces which will be on display at the third annual pop culture art show Crazy4Cult 3D. Jeff Boyes has done a nice piece inspired by Luc Besson‘s 1994 film The Professional, which starred Natalie Portman as a 12-year-old who is taken in by a Professional assassin (Jean Reno) after her parents are killed.
Click on the image above to enlarge. Gallery1988 will be selling limited edition prints of this piece at the show, which opens on July 16th and runs until August 8th in Los Angeles.
